We now are excited to announce the creation of a single cancer support hub for the Brunel Health Group. This is as a result of a recently commissioned independent report carried out by Healthwatch (Swindon) in conjunction with Macmillan. This independent report identified that more information about cancer is needed within primary care which is accessible to our patients online, in waiting areas and in community support spaces.
The support hub is a website that contains all the information patients might need in the following areas as specified by Macmillan such as Physical/Emotional/Practical/Spiritual/Family and a large amount of signposting to locality groups and resources.
